Choosing Between Tube Settlers and Plate Settlers:

To select between Tube Settler and Plate Settler, firstly we need to know their advantages and disadvantages.

Tube Settlers Advantages:
* They are available in blocks which can easily be fitted into many different sizes and shapes of tanks.
* Manufactured from PVC or PP, they are lightweight and economical.

Tube Settlers Disadvantages:
* May experience flow distribution issues with their small path for water flow, with possible plugging.
* Due to its design, the separated slipping-down sludge may interfere with incoming water

Plate Settlers Advantages:
* Constructed of thick PVC, durable with longer service life
* Low maintenance rate
* Smaller footprint

Plate Settlers Disadvantages:
** Higher in height
** Initial investment for plate settlers is greater than tube settlers
