Lamella Clarifier Installation Manual

As we know the gate height of a 40 feet high cube shipping container is only 2.585m.
Lamella Clarifier is too high to be loaded into it because of its structure and design. For easy transportation, we lamella clarifier manufacturer usually divide a lamella clarifier into 2 parts in design and manufacturing.

After clarifiers arriving to clients sites, clients need to assemble the 2 parts together by bolts and nuts:
* Part 1: Lamella Pack Tank
* Part 2: Sludge Hopper

Here below we use photos of preinstallation process in our factory before shipping to describe the installation process, which is much easy.
Lamella clarifier is full of water during operation, total operation weight will be much heavy, so a strong reinforced concrete base is required, lamella clarifier will be installed on it. Please make sure the reinforced concrete base is flat and strong enough.

1:
Put part 2 – the sludge hopper on the concrete base, adjust its location to make it horizontal, and make sure it is in firm contact with the concrete base.

2:
Clean the white rubber seal on part 2 and the bottom surface of part 1, to make sure they are clean and no foreign matters left on them.

3:
Lift part 1 by a crane and put it on part 2, please make sure the bolt holes on part 1 and part 2 matching with each other. Firmly connect part 1 and part 2 with bolts and nuts to guarantee the sealing performance to avoid water leakage.

4:
Install Sludge Discharge Valves to the Sludge Outlet of Part 2. It is simple, also connect with bolts and nuts.

5:
Sludge Discharge Valve are closed in default.
Fill the lamella clarifier with water for leakage test. Check the connection parts of part 1 and part 2, to make sure no leakage.

6:
Install electric control box(if any) and water feeding pipe, water discharge pipe, drain pipe and sludge discharge pipe to lamella clarifier.

Then, installation finish.
Installation process is simple and easy, you will need crane during the installation process. Installation method from different lamella clarifier manufacturers may be different, please follow the installation manual from your supplier.
