Lamella clarifier is also called lamella separator, inclined plate settler and inclined plate water clarifier, is one kind of high efficiency solid-liquid separation solution which works on shallow tank theory to remove solid particles from liquids. Compared with conventional water clarifier, treatment capacity of our LC lamella clarifier can be 7-10 times higher.

According to the difference of medium used inside clarifier tank body, lamella clarifier can be divided into: Lamella Tube Clarifier and Lamella Plate Clarifier. Full set of wastewater clarification system in a package, include necessary supporting equipment like chemical dosing machine, sand filter, etc.

Lamella clarifier works on the basis of shallow tank theory, which tells the settling efficiency of a sedimentation tank only relates to the effective surface area. Unlike the conventional water clarifier, lamella clarifier uses a series of inclined plates. These plates provide a large effective settling area for a small footprint.

Raw water firstly enters into lamella plate through water inlet, and then is distributed uniformly by water distribution system which is installed under the clarifier lamella pack. Because of the gravity, solids begin to settle on the plates and begin to accumulate in collection hoppers at the bottom of the clarifier. The clarified water exits the clarifier from the top by overflowing.
